Tim played the violin in the symphony orchestra in 2000 and 2001 graduating from Lake Braddock in 2001. He attended Virginia Tech graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music concentrating in composition and music technology. He was quite successful musically while at Tech. In 2003 Tim co-founded the chamber music emsemble at Virginia Tech winning the MTNA state competition in 2005. In 2005 and 2006 he was a featured composer in the Arts Fusion festival in Blacksburg Virginia. Tim has spent the last two summers attending the Wintergreen Music Festival in Wintergreen Virginia. Last summer he was one of 3 composers whose work was performed for the first time. He is now attending the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cleveland Ohio working toward a master's degree in music composition.
