Class of 2004: Chris Mauthe

Chris played the viola in the symphony orchestra for 4 years before graduating from Lake Braddock in 2004. He decided early on that he wanted to join his favorite teachers in their profession and has worked very hard to earn his degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. His goal is to teach either middle school or high school history. He will graduate this coming May continuing on one more year and will leave James Madison University with his undergraduate and graduate degrees in hand. He traveled to Ghana this past summer through a program at school in which he worked with kids in small villages and was quite inspired. At this time he’s looking to teach outside the country and travel.
