Austin Isaac

Mr. Isaac has taught orchestra at the elementary and secondary levels in both public and private schools in Virginia. He received his B.M., cum laude, from James Madison University with a concentration in instrumental education. He has been commissioned and has written works for string orchestra, full orchestra, and choir. In addition to being a published composer with Wingert-Jones Publications, Austin has served as a guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator for state assessment performances in various regions of Virginia.

As a double bassist, Austin has been an active performer in a variety of orchestras in the Northern Virginia area. He has co-presented on improvisation in the instrumental classroom at the Virginia Music Educators Conference and has served on the VBODA Orchestra State Grading Committee. Austin is a member of the National Association of Music Education and the Virginia Band and Orchestra Director’s Association.

Clayton Allen

Mr. Allen has taught orchestra at the elementary and secondary levels in public schools in Florida from 2003-2008 and secondary levels in Virginia from 2014 to the present. He received his Bachelor of Music Education from Florida State University with a concentration in instrumental music. Mr. Allen also received his Master of Music at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida with a concentration in Music Performance; Viola.

As a violist, Mr. Allen has had the privilege to be an active performer in multiple symphony orchestras in Florida and has been involved in several Youth Orchestra programs in Florida, DC, MD, and VA as a Violin/Viola Instructor.

Mr. Allen took a hiatus from teaching upon entering the Army as an enlisted soldier from 2008 - 2014, providing medical oversight and reorganization in multiple Health care divisions during service at Fort Bragg and Fort Belvoir.

Mr. Allen joined Lake Braddock Secondary School in 2014 as an Orchestra Director with the Fairfax County Public Schools teaching Middle/High School Orchestra upon leaving the Army. And, on August 13, 2017, Mr. Allen was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the District of Columbia Army National Guard with the 260th RTI DC Army National Guard.
